Chinese president's envoy attends Micronesian president's inauguration

Head of China's State Oceanic Administration Wang Hong has attended the inauguration of the new Micronesian President Peter M. Christian as an envoy of President Xi Jinping.

Conveying President Xi's sincere congratulations to President Christian, Wang said that China attaches great importance to developing bilateral relations with Micronesia and is willing to make concerted efforts with Micronesia in strengthening exchanges at different levels and enhancing communication and cooperation in different areas in order to promote bilateral ties.

President Christian expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Xi for sending his special envoy to the inauguration, adding that Micronesia is ready to further deepen cooperation with China so that the bilateral relations can reach a new stage. Endi
