Three persons including two civilians and a police personnel sustained injuries as a roadside bomb struck a police van in the southern Uruzgan province with Trinkot as its capital, 370 km southwest of Kabul, on Friday, Police officer Gul Agha said.

"A roadside bomb organized by militants struck a police vehicle outside Uruzgan provincial capital the Trinkot city today afternoon injuring a police constable and two passerby civilians," Agha told Xinhua.

He also put the attack on Taliban militants, but the armed outfit has yet to claim responsibility. Endi
