Turkey has taken all necessary security measures to provide the security of Asian tourists and foreign delegations in Turkey, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said here on Friday.

"I want to assure all the tourists and all the foreign delegates in Turkey that your lives and properties are under Turkey's protection," Davutoglu said, referring to the latest outrage among the Turkish people against China over the Uighur issue.

The Turkish prime minister said Ankara will not let any adverse incidents to happen anymore against tourists and consulates. He also appealed Turkish people to be sensitive on that issue and "not to be fooled by those provocations."
