At least three people were killed during a cash-in-transit robbery in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkov on Friday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred at 8:40 a.m. local time (0540 GMT), when an armed man, wearing a helmet and a balaclava, attacked a van for transporting cash in the center of the city, killing three couriers, Anton Gerashchenko, an advisor to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, wrote on his facebook page.

He said that the attacker escaped with around 105,000 U.S. dollars and police had launched a manhunt for him.

Investigation into the heist is underway. Endi
