A Turkish Airlines flight, with 148 passengers on board, Tuesday made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Indian capital, following a bomb threat, a senior aviation official said.

"The plane, which was on its way to Istanbul from Thailand, made the emergency landing after a message written in lipstick on a mirror in the flight's toilet warned of a bomb in the cargo," the official said, on condition of anonymity. (India-Turkish Flight-Bomb Threat)

KABUL -- Attack on a security post in Kabul on Tuesday claimed four lives including three attackers, police said.

"A terrorist equipped with suicide vest blew himself up next to an office of National Directorate for Security (NDS) killing himself and a guard, enabling two others to enter the compound but those inside returned fire and killing both within minutes," Kabul Police chief Abdul Rahman Rahimi told reporters at the site of the incident. KABUL -- Gul Zaman, No. 2 leader of the Islamic State (IS) branch in Afghanistan, has been killed along with six other IS members in a U.S. drone strike, said the country 's intelligence agency on Tuesday.

"Based on information of National Directorate of Security (NDS), Daesh (Arabic name of IS) No.2 leader and 'Daesh war commander in Khorasan province' named Gul Zaman, along with his deputy named Jahanyar and five other Daesh members had been killed following an airstrike in Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province," the NDS said in a statement.
