A regional business conference opened on Friday in Mostar, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), being attended by senior officials from BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Macedonia.

Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic told the opening ceremony that apart from economic cooperation, the conference also contributed to reconciliation and the improvement of the security situation in the region.

Mirko Sarovic, BiH minister of foreign trade and economic relations, noted there are still many obstacles in regional economic cooperation.

This year's conference will focus on how to reduce barriers to regional cooperation and explore the potentials, organizers said. Endit
