Chinese Super League defending champion Guangzhou Evergrande' new signing Jose Paulo Bezerra Maciel Junior Paulinho) hoped to make his debut this weekend after being unveiled at training base here on Thursday.

"I had 3-week vacation before I came here and kept a good physical condition. I never confronted with any injury issues in my career, so I hope I could get back to the game this weekend."

Paulinho, from Hot Spurs, said that joining Guangzhou Evergrande was a chance to him. "Guangzhou Evergrande are very professional, I have communicated with Elekson and Luiz Felipe Scolari before making decision and realized Evergrande have a advanced mode just like other top football clubs do, and China's soccer develops very quickly, it's a chance for me to show myself."

As a member of Brazil's national team, Paulinho thought choosing the Chinese Super League would not play down his prospect in Selecao.

"It's every player's dream to play for the national team, but now the club's match is my top concern, and Evergrande is a top club in Asia, I think I will not miss the chance to play for Brazil." Endi
