Chinese Premier Li Keqiang announced Tuesday in Paris that Beijing has formulated a document about its voluntary actions on cutting emissions and submitted it to the UN Climate Change Secretariat.

ATHENS -- Greece's government proposed a two-year debt deal with the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) in a last-minute bid to avert the countdown to default and a possible Grexit, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' office said on Tuesday.

BRUSSELS -- The European Union on Tuesday announced it would prolong the suspension of EU sanctions targeting Iran by one week.
"To allow more time for the ongoing negotiations to reach a long term solution to the Iranian nuclear issue," the European Council has prolonged until July 7, 2015 the suspension of EU restrictive measures agreed in the Joint Plan of Action with Iran dated Nov. 24, 2013, said a European Council statement. ISLAMABAD -- At least 13 militants were killed during a gun-battle with security forces in Pakistan's southwest Awaran district on Tuesday, officials said.
Khan Wasay, the spokesperson of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps (FC), said that the exchange of firing between security forces and militants took place when the FC conducted a search operation in Mashkay area of Awaran, a remote district of the country's southwest Balochistan province. TEHRAN -- The international talks will continue in the following days to reach a good deal over Iran's nuclear issue, an Iranian nuclear negotiator said on Tuesday, according to official IRNA news agency.
