Iran confirmed the death of two of its nationals in the Friday's bomb attack at a Shiite mosque in Kuwait, official IRNA news agency reported on Saturday.

"Unfortunately, two Iranians residing in Kuwait were martyred in the Friday's terrorist attack" on Kuwait's Imam Sadeq mosque, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham told IRNA.

Afkham condemned the attack, saying that the regional states should jointly deal with the terrorism of extremist groups.
