Indian PM greets Djibouti on its Independence Day

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday greeted Djibouti on its Independence Day and thanked the African country for its support in evacuating Indian nationals from war-ravaged Yemen.

"On Djibouti's Independence Day, I convey my greetings and best wishes to the people of Djibouti. India remains grateful to Djibouti for their strong support and active cooperation to evacuate a large number of Indian nationals as well as nationals of other countries from strife-torn Yemen," Modi said.

The Indian Prime Minister added: "It indicates the robustness of our ties."
