Internet firm warned over erotic pop-ups

Xinhua, June 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

China's Internet regulator on Friday ordered antivirus software provider Kingsoft Security to stop allowing erotic pop-ups or have its online pop-up service license revoked.

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said it has received a lot of public tip-offs about the issue since the beginning of 2015.

Kingsoft now has a week to put a stop to it.

The CAC said it welcomes the public to continue to report on Internet malpractice. Tip-offs can be made at www.12377.com by e-mails to jubao@12377.cn. Endi
