Three civilians sustained injuries as a mine planted by militants went off in Shahjoi district of Zabul province on Friday, provincial government spokesman Gul Islam Sayal said. "A mine planted by militants on a road in Shahjoi district exploded today, injuring three innocent civilians," Sayal told Xinhua.

Without giving more details, the official said that efforts were underway to identify and bring to justice those behind the bombing. Endi
