Dollar trades at upper 123 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 123 yen level in Tokyo early on Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar traded at 123.58-60 yen compared with 123. 59-69 yen in New York and 123.76-77 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1202-1204 dollars and 138.44-51 yen against 1.1199-1209 dollars and 138.50-60 yen in New York and 1.1204-1205 dollars and 138.66-70 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
