China's service industry integrated with mobile network: report

Xinhua, June 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

Mobile network has been largely used in the service industry since 2014, including finance, education, medical care and travel, said a report Wednesday.

The report also said that the Internet has become a must for Chinese people to get information, communicate, shop, and pay for various services.

In March, "Internet Plus" was put forward by Premier Li Keqiang, to integrate the Internet with traditional industries through online platforms and technology, and China's new media is showing signs of integration, the report said.

Li Peilin, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), said China's new media is faced with problems, including Internet information security, integration of traditional and new media, supervision over internet finance and online rumors

"We will study the development of new media from the national strategic goal to boost its healthy development," said Li.

This year marks the sixth year for the CASS to release the "Annual Report on Development of New Media in China." Endi
