Philippine shares close 0.11 pct higher Monday

Philippine shares closed 0.11 percent higher on Monday.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index increased by 7.97 points to 7609.14. The all-share index went up by 9.13 points, or 0.21 percent, to 4360.52.

Trading volume reached 530.14 million shares worth 5.44 billion pesos ( 120.86 million U.S. dollars).

There were 97 gainers, 67 losers while 40 stocks closed flat. Endi
