CLMV summit kicks off in Myanmar

The 7th Summit of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) kicked off in Myanmar's capital Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

The ministers attending the summit exchanged views on the economic cooperation among CLMV countries, trade and investments cooperation and development plans and financial assistance from international partners.

The draft Joint Statement of the CLMV summit was also discussed.

Along with the summit, the 6th Summit of Ayeyawaddy-Chao Phraya Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) incorporating the four countries and Thailand will also be held in the Myanmar capital for two days.

CLMV summit is held biannually and the two summits have combined since 2008 in Vietnam. Endi
