French stock market index up 0.25 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a slight advance of 0.25 percent at 4,815.37 points on Friday, up 11.89 points.

With a last chance to solve the Greek debt issues, the CAC 40 closed slightly higher on Friday with 27 of the 40 selected gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Friday were Valeo, up 4.17 percent, Peugeot, up 3.32 percent, and Airbus Group, up 2.17 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Friday were L'Oreal, down 1.19 percent, Carrefour and Vivendi, both down 0.83 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a slight advance of 0.27 percent at 4,803.48 points, up 12.86 points. Enditem
