Urgent: U.S. stocks rebound after two-day losses

U.S. stocks posted sizable gains on Tuesday after a two-day sell-off, with both the Dow and the S&P 500 rising about 0.6 percent, while the Nasdaq added 0.5 percent.

Meanwhile, investors are anxiously waiting for the outcome of a two-day policy meeting of the Federal Reserve that will end on Wednesday to gauge when the Fed will begin raising its key interest rate that has been kept at close to zero for more than six years. Endite
