French stock market index down 1.75 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 1.75 percent at 4,815.36 points on Monday, down 85.83 points.

Affected by the failed negotiations between Greece and its creditors over the weekend, the CAC 40 closed lower on Monday with all the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies of which stocks dropped most on Monday were Peugeot, down 4.01 percent, Valeo, down 3.84 percent, and Accor, down 3.33 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 1.41 percent at 4,901.19 points, down 70.18 points. Endit
