Hong Kong Airlines signs agreements to provide upgraded inflight entertainment

Hong Kong Airlines signed Monday an agreement with Aircom Pacific Inc. and Klingon Aerospace to install inflight entertainment and connectivity systems on board Hong Kong Airlines aircrafts, Aircom Pacific announced Monday.

The agreement was signed Monday during the 51st Paris Air Show by Director of Hong Kong Airlines Stanley Kan and representatives from Aircom Pacific and Klingon Aerospace.

"This co-operation with Aircom Pacific promises our passengers a brand new experience in the air," said Kan, adding that "Aircom Pacific's vision of free connectivity for airlines and passengers was revolutionary."

With the system provided by Aircom Pacific and Klingon Aerospace, airlines are allowed to take real time payments for durty free purchases, offer direct streaming TV and videos with thousands of channels, said the statement.

Established in 2006, Hong Kong Airlines serves about 30 cities regionally from its base Hong Kong International Airport. Enditem
