Sweden's Prince Carl Philip got married with Swedish commoner Sofia Hellqvist in Stockholm on Saturday.

With a loud "yes" from Philip, steady "yes" from Hellqvist, the two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

Royals from Denmark, Norway, and Britain, among others, together with Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Madeleine, her husband Chris O'Neill and Princess Leonore, attended the ceremony.

After the wedding, the married couple, carried on a horse carriage, processed around the city where they were met by enthusiastic crowds.

Sofia Hellqvist, 30, is a former model and yoga instructor. Prince Carl Philip, 36, is the second child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and holds the title of Duke of Varmland. He is third in line to the throne, behind his elder sister Crown Princess Victoria and her three-year-old daughter Princess Estelle. Endit
