Weekly flights between Mauritius and China to increase to 28

Mauritius and Chinese governments have signed an agreement that will increase weekly flights along China-Mauritius-Africa route to 28, a statement issued by the office of Mauritius Deputy Prime Minister Xavier-Luc Duval said Thursday.
"I am happy that this agreement has been signed," Duval said, noting that the agreement was signed on June 9 in Beijing.
Duval who is equally Mauritius' Tourism and External Communications Minister, said the agreement which increases connectivity, was key for the country's development.
"This will enable us to finally become the continent's hub in terms of financial, medical and education services," the statement said.
It was signed during a visit to China by a Mauritian delegation led by Secretary to the Cabinet Sateeaved Seebaluck. Endi
