Kuwait wants to buy 24 French Caracal helicopters

Kuwait's Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said he wanted to buy 24 French heavy Caracal helicopters to boost the country's military equipment and ensure its security, the French presidency announced Wednesday.

Al Sabah added during phone talks with French President Francois Hollande that the deal would be signed "as soon as possible."

Both leaders praised ties linking the two countries and reiterated their common willingness to promote regional stability. Endit
