Putin to attend Russia National Day at Milan Expo on Wednesday: AGI

Xinhua, June 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

Russian President Vladimir Putin will be in Italy on Wednesday to visit Milan and Rome for a diplomatic tour, Italy's AGI news agency said on Tuesday.

The Russian president will be accompanied by Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to Milan Expo, where he will visit the Russian pavilion and inaugurate the Russia National Day at Milan Expo, AGI said.

In the afternoon Putin will travel to Rome, where he will be received at the Quirinale palace by Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

AGI report said the meeting in Milan between Renzi and Putin is the second this year after the visit of Renzi to Moscow on March 5.

Putin will also meet Silvio Berlusconi in the evening, the Kremlin announced, just as he previously did last October on the sidelines of the ASEM summit in Milan. Endit
