Former general manager of Fujian Media Group indicted for graft

Chen Wenguang, former vice chairman and general manager of Fujian Media Group, has been charged with accepting bribes, according to a statement bu the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) Monday.
Prosecutors in Fujian Province indicted Chen for taking advantage of his post to seek benefits for others between 2009 and 2014, with illegal gains amounting to 7.04 million yuan (about 1.14 million U.S. dollars).
Prosecutors in Hebei Province have also arrested three former provincial officials for similar offences. They are Wu Haihui, former deputy head of the standing committee of Chengde Municipal People's Congress; Cui Lixin, former secretary of the Communist Party of China Xinglong County Committee; Fang Chengyi, former secretary of the Communist Party of China Yutian County Committee.
In Guizhou Province, Wu Jun, president of Kaili University, is also being investigated by prosecutors, also for taking bribes. Wu has been placed under compulsory measures. Such measures may include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest. Endi
