China, Central Asia states to hold cooperation forum

China and five Central Asia countries will hold their third cooperation forum in Rizhao, Shandong Province next Tuesday.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei made the announcement at the daily press briefing Monday in Beijing.

The forum will be attended by Meng Jianzhu, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, as well as First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov and Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Valery Dil.

Over 300 delegates from China and five Central Asian countries will also attend.

With the theme the Silk Road Economic Belt and boosting connectivity, the forum is hosted by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and Rizhao municipal government. Endit
