1st LD: Roadside bomb kills 6 civilians in Afghanistan's Uruzgan province

Six civilians were killed as a roadside bomb struck a car in the southern Uruzgan province on Saturday, spokesman for provincial government Dost Mohammad Nayab said. "A bomb planted by insurgents struck a car in Deh Rawad district at around 12:40 p.m. local time today, killing six civilians including a woman on the spot," Nayab told Xinhua.

This is the third roadside bombing that have claimed civilians live in Afghanistan since Friday.

Two previous roadside bombs which exploded in the southern Kandahar and its neighboring Ghazni province killed 11 civilians. Endit
