Xinhua, June 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Ministry of Transport (MOT) said on Saturday that oil leaking from the capsized Eastern Star in the Yangtze River has been cleaned up.

Oil spilled from the cruise ship when it was hoisted from the water on Friday morning, and river authorities moved quickly before serious pollution occurred.

The death toll climbed to 396 by Saturday noon, with 46 people now still missing. Only 14 people survived the cruise tragedy that occurred on Monday night. Endi
