Bulgarian GDP grows by 2.0 pct in Q1

Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.0 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2015, according to preliminary data released by the country's National Statistical Institute (NSI) on Friday.
The GDP at current prices amounted to 9.901 billion U.S. dollars in Q2, or 1,375 dollars per person, the NSI said.
Exports and imports of goods and services increased by 12.9 percent and 9.7 percent respectively compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year, added the NSI .
According to data from NSI, in 2014 Bulgaria's GDP grew by 1.1 percent in Q1, 1.6 percent in Q2 and Q3, and 1.2 percent in Q4. Endit
