Warriors beat Cavs in overtime to go up 1-0

Stephen Curry had 26 points and eight assists as the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers for a 108-100 overtime win in Game 1 of the NBA Finals here on Thursday night.
"I thought we came out of the regulation flat and without the kind of energy that we had displayed throughout the games," Cavaliers coach David Blatt said after the game.
James shot 18 of 38 from the field grabbed a game-high 44 points and had eight rebounds and six assists. But the four-time MVP missed a long jumper at the end of regulation, and the Cavaliers got only two points in the whole overtime. Irving finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Curry, the current MVP, had 26 points and 8 assists. Klay Thompson scored 21 and Andrew Iguodala finished with 15.
The Warriors rallied from an early 14-point deficit and Harrison Barnes hit a corner 3 just to give Golden State a 105-98 lead with 2:02 left and put the game beyond reach. Endi
