China stocks open higher Friday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.39 percent, to open at 5,016.09.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 17,727.86, up 1.3 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.29 percent higher at 3,994.44 points. Endi
