French stock market index down 0.93 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.93 percent at 4,987.13 points on Thursday, down 47.04 points.

With Greece and its creditors not reaching an agreement and the strong rebound of euros against U.S. dollars, the CAC 40 closed lower on Thursday with 37 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The top three gainers on Thursday were Unibail-Rodamco, up 2.60 percent, Saint Gobain, up 0.08 percent, Sanofi, up 0.03 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Thursday were Technip, down 3.55 percent, Publicis Groupe, down 3.07 percent, and ArcelorMittal, down 2.96 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.59 percent at 5,034.17 points, up 29.71 points. Endit
