Xinhua, June 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

A plane arriving at Philadelphia International Airport was evacuated Tuesday morning after the airport received a bomb threat, local media reported.

Shortly after the plane landed on the runway at about 6:30 a.m. local time at Philadelphia International Airport, police and a bomb squad started searching the plane for possible multiple devices aboard U.S. Airways Flight 648 as indicated earlier by the threat.

So far, no injuries have been reported and authorities said there was no indication that the threat was real, the U.S. TV network ABC News said.

According to a statement from the airline, there were 93 people on board the plane, namely 88 passengers and 5 crew members. All people were reunited with their luggage and were free to go, the statement said. Endi
