Getafe announce change of coach, sign Krohn-Delhi

Xinhua, June 1, 2015 Adjust font size:

Spanish BBVA Primera Liga side Getafe confirmed on Monday that coach Pablo Franco will not continue to direct the club next season.

Franco was promoted from the Getafe B team with 14 matches left in the campaign to become the Madrid based club's third coach of the season after Quique Sanchez Flores decided to resign after less than two months in charge.

His 14 matches saw three wins, two draws and nine defeats, although that was enough for the club to avoid relegation with relative comfort.

Franco has an offer to return to the B-team while the club has begun the search for a new coach for next season.

Meanwhile Europa League champions, Sevilla have already begun to strengthen for next season with the announcement they have signed Danish International midfielder, Michael Krohn-Dehli.

The 32-year-old joins on a free transfer after his contract with Celta Vigo expires at the end of June.

Krohn.Delhi, who has played 49 times for Denmark, spent three years in Vigo, making 101 first team appearances during which he changes his role in the side from that of a wide player to a more central midfield role and his arrival will give depth to Sevilla, who next season will play in the Champions League.
