China's Xiamen Airlines will open three round-trip charter flights to connect Chinese cities with ROK's Seoul and Thailand's Bangkok starting in June.

The Xiamen-headquartered airline said it also planned to add new flights to Japan to cater to the upsurge in overseas travels by Chinese during the coming summer holidays.

The company will operate charter flights between Quanzhou City in east China's Fujian Province and Seoul twice a week between June 13 and October 24. Sixty flights will be carried out between Seoul and Fuzhou, capital of east China's Fujian Province, between June 15 and October 22 on selected dates.
