Dollar trades in upper 123 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 123 yen zone in early Tokyo deals on Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.78-79 yen compared with 123.90-124.00 yen in New York and 123.63-64 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.0963-0966 dollars and 135.69-76 yen against 1.0944-0954 dollars and 135.65-75 yen in New York and 1.0941-0942 dollars and 135.27-31 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
