Argentinian FA backs investigation for alleged corruption in FIFA

The Argentinian Football Association (AFA) said on Thursday that they "support and follow" the United States Department of Justice investigation on alleged corruption of FIFA's and Conmebol's high command.
"The AFA will continue to adopt necessary and conducive measures for the complete clarification of the allegations made ... it will be at the disposal of the judicial authorities that request it," said the organism in a release.
The same goes in the case of the scandal involving in the Southamerican Football Confederation.
"We share concern with the world of football for the transperency our beloved sport deserves," said AFA.
Police in Switzerland arrested on Wednesday seven executives allegedly involved in FIFA and Conmebol corruption, for a total of 14 defendants.
The U.S. Department of Justice accuses the defendants of illicit awards for the World Cup, advertisement and brodcasting rights agreements, in addition to money laundering, fraude and organized crime.
The U.S. investigation implies crimes that have gone for the last 24 years.
According to the accusations, both the late AFA ex-president and former FIFA vice president, Julio Grondona are implicated.
Meanwhile, the arrest of three Argentinian businessmen, Alejandro Burzaco, CEO of Torneos y Competencias, and brothers Hugo and Mariano Jinkis, owners of a sports marketing company, was ordered on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the FIFA corruption cases. Endi
