Japan's unemployment rate stands at 3.3 pct in April

The unemployment rate in Japan stood at 3.3 percent in April, down from 3.4 percent in the previous month, the Japanese government said Friday.

Meanwhile, the country's job availability hit an about 23-year best level in the reporting month, separated government data showed.

The ratio of employment offers to seekers rose to 1.17 in April from 1.15 in March, suggesting that 117 positions were available for every 100 job seekers. Endi
