French stock market index down 0.66 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.66 percent at 5,083.54 points on Tuesday, down 33.63 points.

The CAC 40 closed slightly lower on Tuesday with 30 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The companies that gained most on Tuesday were Vivendi, up 1.41 percent, Michelin, up 0.70 percent, and Accor, up 0.42 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Tuesday were EDF, down 1.76 percent, Total, down 1.51 percent, and Publicis Groupe, down 1.42 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.50 percent at 5,117.17 points, down 25.72 points. Endit
