Tunisian soldier opens fire at fellows in capital

A Tunisian soldier opened fire on Monday on his comrades at a security barrack in the capital Tunis, a military spokesman said.

The soldier, who was not supposed to carry weapons at the time, opened fire indiscriminately at several National Guard agents in the Bouchoucha barracks, Belhasaan Oueslati, spokesman for the Defense Ministry, told Tunisian radio Mosaique FM.

No details on casualties have been reported so far. Endit
