Japan's central bank retains easing policy

The Bank of Japan said on Friday that it will maintain its ultra-loose monetary policy as the country's economy, the third largest in the world, is recovering moderately.

The central bank also maintained its assessment of the current economy in Japan.

The bank's Policy Board voted to keep its key policy of increasing base money at an annual pace of about 80 trillion yen ( 664 billion U.S. dollars) through massive asset purchases, according to local report. Endi
