China's first international ultra-marathon champion Chen Penbin on Thursday finished his 50th straight marathon and half of his 100-marathon-in-100-day campaign.

The 37-year-old started his journey from Guangzhou on April 2 and is expected to complete 100 in Beijing on July 10.

Chen ran 100km in South Pole in 2014, becoming the first runner to compete in ultra-marathon in all seven continents. Endi
