Bodies of 4 Indians killed by Talibans in Afghanistan flown home

The bodies of the four Indians killed in a Taliban attack in Kabul were flown back here Friday in an Indian Air Force plane, said local media.

The four Indians killed were identified as Mathew George, R.K. Bhatti, Satish Chandra and Martha Farrel. Two of those killed belonged to the southern state of Kerala, one was from central state Chandigarh and one from southeastern state Andhra Pradesh, said Indo-Asian News Service.

Farrell, 56, was to return to India from Afghanistan on Saturday. She was the spokesperson for a training program conducted by an Indian foundation.

The four were among people killed in the Taliban attack at the Park Palace guesthouse in Kabul's Kolola Pushta Wednesday evening. Endi
