Ford to recall Lincoln MKZ over defective headlamps

Xinhua, May 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Ford will recall 1,220 units of 2015 Lincoln MKZ vehicles with defective headlamps, said a statement released by China's quality supervisor on Friday.

The vehicles, all imported, were manufactured between Feb. 17, 2014 and March 19, 2015, said the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Due to software failure, the headlamp strength exceeds that allowed by law and could affect the vision of oncoming drivers, said the statement.

Dealers will recode the software. The recall starts on May 16. Endi
