Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks closed higher Friday with the BSE benchmark index Sensex closing at 27,324.00 points, 117.94 points or 0.43 percent up from the previous close of 27,206. 06 points.

The rebound came one day after the government said the annual wholesale inflation dropped to six-month low last month, bringing hope of relax of banking rates. Endi
