First direct flight links Inner Mongolia, Japan

China's Spring Airlines will launch the first direct flight between Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Nagoya in Japan, on June 30.

The Airbus A320 aircraft, which has 180 seats, will travel between Hohhot and Nagoya via north China's Shijiazhuang City every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, officials with Hohhot Baita Airport announced on Thursday.

The outbound flight will depart from Hohhot at 8:25 p.m. and arrive in Nagoya at 1:45 a.m.. The return flight will depart from Nagoya at 1:50 p.m. and land in Hohhot at 7:25 p.m..

The ticket price for the first flight on June 30 will only be 299 yuan (48.9 U.S. dollars), the budget airline said. Endi
