World junior No.14 Ly Hoang Nam has been seeded No. 7 at the 56 Trofeo Bonfiglio's boys' singles, which will be played from May 18-24 in Milan, Italy, Vietnam News Agency reported Tuesday.

He will compete against rivals in the world junior top 10, including Luz Orlando (Brazil, No.2), Taylor Fritz (U.S., No.3), Akira Santillan (Japan, No.8), and Chung Yongseong (South Korea, No.9).

The Vietnamese star will also play in the boys' doubles, as he pairs with Alberto Lim of the Philippines. Recently, the duo won the 25th Sarawak Chief Minister's Cup in March and the Asian Closed Junior Championship last month.

The 56 Trofeo Bonfiglio is of the Grade A leveler of the International Tennis Federation, in which players compete on clay court.

After Milan, Nam will fly to Sweden to practice for a short time before taking part in a competition for juniors at the second Grand Slam of the year, the French Open in Paris.

In June, he will join his teammates to compete at the SEA Games in Singapore. Endi
