Senior CPC official meets Cape Verde guests

A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official vowed to promote closer party-to-party exchanges with Cape Verde on Tuesday.

Guo Jinlong, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the pledge while meeting with a delegation from the African Party for the Independence of Cape Verde, led by its Chairman Janira Fonseca Almada, also the country's Minister of Youth, Employment, Human Resources.

Guo said the two countries always respect and support each other, and have set a good example for relation between countries with different sizes and political systems.

Hailing the profound friendship between the CPC and the African Party for the Independence of Cape Verde, he called for new progress in party-to-party cooperation.

Almada said her party regards the CPC as a strategic partner, adding Cape Verde was very grateful to China's help and support over the years. Endi
