China's defense chief meets ROK Army chief

Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan on Tuesday met with Republic of Korea Army Chief of Staff Kim Yo-hwan.

Chang lauded the rapid growth of China-ROK ties, as leaders of the two countries maintained close contact and strategic trust and mutually beneficial cooperation had been further strengthened.

China and the ROK enjoy sound military-to-military relations, featuring frequent high-level visits, regular smooth exchanges and growing areas of cooperation.

ROK would like to enhance communication with China and promote further exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries, Kim said. Endit
