1st LD: 7.2-magnitude quake hits Papua New Guinea

An earthquake of 7.2 magnitude jolted 149 km SW of Panguna, Papua New Guinea on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 22.1 km, was initially determined to be at 7.3 degrees south latitude and 154.5 degrees east longitude.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center hasn't issued tsunami warning yet.

There's no reports of casualties or property loss so far. Endi
